Welcome Back Panthers!

My name is Jazmin Cortes Sandoval, and I am your Student Government Association (SGA) President for the 2025-2026 school year. SGA held our annual oath ceremony on Wednesday, August 20th, where incoming members, including myself, took our oath to serve you, the PCCC student body. Our oath marked an important milestone, and I am grateful for the opportunity to serve and represent my peers.
I would like to thank former SGA President Tiffany Guerrero for all that she accomplished, my advisor Gina Oriolo for guiding me through this journey, and of course all of you for trusting me and voting for me in the election! I’m truly excited to take on this responsibility and contribute to making a positive impact for students. This role is not just about leadership; it’s about listening, collaborating, and ensuring that every voice is heard. I look forward to the opportunities ahead and can’t wait to create a stronger, more connected community.
A little bit about me: This academic year will be my second year here at PCCC so I will be graduating in the spring. My major is Exercise Science, and I hope to transfer to William Paterson University once I graduate. The end goal for me is to eventually get my doctorate and become a physical therapist! One fun fact about me is that I love to work out and I can be your personal trainer :). This year I am excited to work with PTK, Athletics, the Wellness
Center, PROXI, and all other departments to make PCCC flourish.

Now, let me introduce to you the 2025-2026 SGA Executive Board:
SGA Vice President Camila Rosales Reyes:
“Hi! I'm Camila Rosales, and I'm your SGA Vice President. I'm a Business Admin major but I'm looking to work in the field of marketing, more specifically fashion marketing, fashion is my passion! I'm planning to transfer to Montclair and later maybe go for my master's degree somewhere else. My other big passion is helping others, especially you! The student body. As your Vice President, I'm really looking forward to work with my fellow SGA members to make your experience at PCCC memorable. Some other fun facts about me are that I watch lots of films during my free time and take it very seriously, I keep a list of them. I also love reading, doing crafts, thrifting, and spending time with my 2 cats and friends!”
SGA Treasurer Marceline Wilkinson:
“Hello! My name is Marceline Wilkinson. I am the Treasurer for the Student Government Association of PCCC. I am currently a nursing major. This school year, I aim to create a positive influence on the student body and leave a benchmark for future student government treasurers to look up to.”
SGA Secretary Tori McLary:
“I'm Tori, your secretary, and I'm thrilled to be a part of SGA. I'm a dedicated and hardworking individual who always strives to contribute positively and transparently. My peers would say I'm reliable and responsible, and always willing to lend a helping hand.”
SGA Speaker Jocelyn Millan:
“Hi everyone and welcome back! My name is Jocelyn Millan, and I am so excited to be your 2025-2026 SGA Speaker. This is my second year at PCCC, and I am a Business Administration major. I hope to concentrate in marketing when I, hopefully, transfer to Rutgers-Newark. Some quick facts about me are that I’m known to be very smiley and optimistic, I enjoy talking to people even though I’m a little shy, and I love rock music. My personal goal for this academic year is to talk to as many people as possible and to be very involved in the school. If you ever see me in the hallways or sitting in the cafeteria or Panther’s Den, you are more than welcome to sit and/or talk with me. Have an amazing year!”

Moving on to your senators, the 2025-2026 SGA Legislative Board:
Natalia Bedoya – Awards Evaluation Committee Chair:
“Hi everyone, I am Natalia Bedoya, and as an Early Childhood Education major, my passion for helping others has led me to a wonderful opportunity with the Student Government Association for the year 2025-2026. As a former ESL student, I am passionate about making sure every student feels a sense of belonging on campus. I am ready to work with all of you to build a stronger, more inclusive community.
Jah’Reese Johnson – Academic Committee Chair:
“I’m Jah’Reese Johnson, a Human Services major. I’m excited for the upcoming academic year and look forward to contributing fresh ideas through the SGA. My goal is to strengthen connections among students and create meaningful opportunities for growth, involvement, and belonging on campus.”
Christopher Colon – Academic Committee Vice-Chair:
“I am Christopher Colon, and I am one of your SGA senators. I am majoring in Accounting, and I am passionate about clarity and solving puzzles. I am a lifelong Paterson resident and try to go jogging daily. Please feel encouraged to ask me any question you may have!”

As you may notice we are missing two senators, however, we have many candidates that we are currently interviewing! I am very hopeful that our SGA Legislative board will be filled soon, and I am excited to see what we will accomplish during our time on the board. We are excited to meet you all as well as wish you a great start to the fall semester. If you see any of us in the halls or in your classrooms, come say hi! Sincerely, Jazmin Cortes Sandoval
