During the week of September 26th, Passaic County Community College’s own Phi Theta Kappa held an awareness week to promote their upcoming events here in the fall semester at PCCC. One of the members Christopher Julca detailed that PTK is an international honor society that is spreading awareness on where students can learn more about the resources that the society offers and how anyone can get involved.

The opportunities range from volunteer work to winning scholarship money. All of this is to empower the students at PCCC and to help them realize the possibilities provided. It's not just a place to go to class, there are so many workshops and help available, like how to build your resume. The PTK activities and volunteering can help students meet mentors, learn leadership skills, and take full advantage of the opportunities given to them. Students can stop by room A125 where they can meet their leaders and in order to be either a provisional member or a member. Students must be full-time and and GPA score of 3.5 and 12 credits completed to become a full member!
