Paterson, NJ - Do you need help paying for your tuition? Do you need help with your studies? If so, then keep reading because this is a message for you!
On Friday, September 19, the Educational Opportunity Fund, (“EOF”), held an orientation at the Main Campus in Paterson to give new and reoccurring students the rundown of what the EOF program provides.
It offers tutoring, financial help, and counseling to those who may need it during their time at PCCC. According to EOF Counselor Kristopher Robinson, there are always new faces on the team so they want to give the students an introduction to who they are and who they can go to.
Orientation is held every fall semester to make students feel more confident so they can familiarize themselves with the EOF team. Robinson was excited to share the perks of the program.
Robinson loves being asked questions and is passionate about helping everyone.
During the interview, Robinson communicated that he did not have the privilege and help of a program like the EOF when he was in school. This reason led him to where he is today—an amazing counselor that everyone loves.
Robinson’s expression for his job is a feeling anyone can tell is genuine. He has made a new home for himself with the EOF team and does the same for students. Students can feel at ease upon walking through the door knowing it is a safe space to be supported and uplifted. Ask anyone and they will tell you how friendly and supportive the environment is.
For more information, the EOF office is located on the second floor of the Academic Hall. So, stop by and say hi! Robinson and all the EOF counselors would love to have you!
