Business Leadership Club - To Bigger and Better Things

Updated: Apr 11, 2023

Newark, NJ - On Feb. 23, 2023, the Business Leadership Club embarked on a trip to tour Rutgers Business School’s campus in Newark, NJ. Club members, accompanied by club advisor and business professor Khloud Kourani and department chair Dr. Thomas Cox, had the opportunity to meet with the Deans, Professors, and staff at Rutgers.

Staff and students discussed different ways one can use a business degree, such as starting your own business and different types of careers depending on individual interests. They also discussed internship opportunities, transferring, and scholarship opportunities for PCCC students at RBS.

Rutgers Business School offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in majors such as accounting, finance, leadership and management, management information systems, marketing, and supply chain management. They also offer full-time and part-time Master of Business Administration programs. The Newark program also offers Mentoring and Road to Success programs, including the Road to Wall Street, Road to CPA, and Road to Silicon Valley programs.

With how broad and diverse the business world is, it can be confusing to process all of the possible opportunities. Rutgers staff provided clear and concise answers to the students' questions and concerns pertaining to their future careers in

business. Overall, the students from PCCC had an informational, educated, and wonderful experience.
