On Thursday April 21st the 9th annual PCCC art exhibition was held in the Broadway Gallery corner of the Broadway and Memorial Drive entrance of PCCC’s Paterson Campus.
Unveiled on April 11th, the exhibition consisted of over 50 works submitted by a total of 29 different student artists. The art presented was diverse and included a wide range of mediums from completely digital pieces, to collages made entirely from paper. Two jurors analyzed the gallery and selected 5 winners in various categories. The event was coordinated by professors Mary Dajnak and Jill Sluka and documented through film by professor Walter Behr along with help from student volunteers. This event was also supported by Blick Art Materials who provided gift certificates for select participants. Works from the exhibition will remain on display in the Broadway Gallery until May 20th. Although winners were selected by jurors, the people’s choice award allows for you to be heard. All accepted art pieces can be viewed and voted for on the PCCC website. The voting deadline is May 13th, and a winner will be announced on May 17th. Let your voice be heard by placing a vote at https://web.pccc.edu/juried-student-art-exhibition-2022/
