On December 2nd, the Student Government Association (SGA) hosted the Paterson
Destress Event in the Panthers Den.
The event provided activities such as painting your own decorative ornament, as well as other relaxing options, including Legos, various puzzles, and board games. Students enjoyed these activities along with cookies and refreshments.

They also had the opportunity to enter a raffle for items intended to provide peace of mind, such as stress balls and other prizes.
As the semester came to a close, we wanted to encourage all students to continue
putting their best foot forward as they work to enrich their skills in their classes and avoid
burnout. Although you may be focused on your studies, it is just as important to rest and
unwind in order to best prepare yourself for finals. Periodic rest throughout the semester is
necessary to prevent burnout.
For this purpose, SGA curates events for the student body to enjoy. Take full advantage of
these opportunities to unwind with your peers, or use them as a way to meet fellow
members of the student body and expand your network of support.
